Patch Notes – 1.0.5

Hello Adventurers,

We are releasing the patch notes ahead of the update to allow discussion of the changes coming to the Old World. In this update, we are increasing the level cap, continuing the story quest and adding new skills for each class. This update is the start of shifting our focus more onto future content, but also prioritizing bug fixes and performance improvements with every update.

Patch Notes – 1.0.5

NEW LEVEL CAP: 45
The level cap has been increased by 5 levels. Continue the Main Story Quest in Marienburg Suid and unlock level 30 passives for each class specialization as you work your way towards level 45.

CLASSES
General

– 24 new passives have been added (2 per specialization). Choosing a passive will lock the other one from being learned, but the choice can be reset using a Retraining Manual.
– Fixed an issue with Actions that caused ‘Blind’ to not reduce the hit chance of the enemy affected.
– Fixed a bug where it was possible to reset the cooldown of pre-specialization Actions by swapping weapon types.
– Rebalanced Action power to be less reliant on weapon power.

Archmage
– Overcast now correctly applies to Heal over Time and Damage over Time actions.

Master of Heavens
– Level 30: Saphery Arts – Decreases threat generated from Lightning Strike by 15%.
— Enhancing this Action will further reduce the amount of threat generated from Lightning Strike.
– Level 30: Caledori Arts – Increases Critical Chance of Lightning Strike by 15%.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the Critical Chance.
– Infusing Bolt will now correctly grant Energy when targeting yourself.

Master of Life
– Level 30: Isha’s Grace – Increase Critical Chance of Earth Blood by 15%.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the Critical Chance.
– Level 30: Lileath’s Wisdom – Decrease base Energy cost of Earth Blood by 4.
— Enhancing this Action will further reduce the base cost of Energy.

Shadow Warrior
– Added a tooltip to explain how Stealth works.

Path of the Veiled Arrow
– Level 30: Predator’s Patience – Increases Accuracy by 15% when target range is greater than 5m.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the Accuracy bonus.
– Level 30: Effective Cover – Decreases threat generated from Deft Strike by 15%
— Enhancing this Action will further reduce the threat generated from Deft Strike.
– Increased base damage of Ambush.

Path of the Silent Blade
– Level 30: Stalker’s Swiftness – Increases movement speed by 10% while in stealth.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the movement speed while in stealth.
– Level 30: Shadow’s Succor – Decreases threat generated of actions while in stealth.
— Enhancing this Action will further reduce the threat generated from actions while in stealth.
– Fixed an issue where Unseen Strike would not crit when behind the target.
– Increased base damage of Unseen Strike.

Warrior Priest
– Health and Armour Passives reduced to 15%.
– Sigmar’s Chosen Armour max bonus reduced to 20%.

Order of the Silver Hammer
– Level 30: Shield of the Order – While Armour of Righteousness is active, Bulwark of Sigmar generates 20% more threat.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the amount of threat generated from Bulwark of Sigmar.
– Level 30: Speaker of the Order – Increases the bonus Armour of allies from Defensive Aura (excludes self) by 20%.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the Armour bonus granted to allies (excludes self).
– Fixed an issue with ‘Defensive Aura’ tooltip displaying incorrect information.
– Stoicism Armour max bonus reduced to 20%.

Order of the Cleansing Flame
– Level 30: Holy Veil – Decreases threat generated from Healing Hand by 15%.
— Enhancing this Action will further reduce the threat generated from Healing Hand.
– Level 30: Sigmar’s Reach – Increases the range of Healing Hand by 1m.
— Enhancing this Action will further increase the range of Healing Hand.
– Healing actions now have a 3 second cast time.

Witch Hunter

Sigmarite Templar
– Level 30: Hunger for Justice – Whenever Mark is consumed, restore 5% of base Health per Mark.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the base % of Health per Mark.
– Level 30: Sinseeker’s Fervour – Whenever Mark is consumed, restore 5% of base Energy per Mark.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the base % of Energy per Mark.
– Condemnation no longer stacks Mark up to 8 stacks.

Sanctioned Hunter
– Level 30: Zealot’s Fervour – Increases Critical Chance of Marked targets by 10%.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the Critical Chance of Marked targets.
– Level 30: Frenzied Faith – Increases Critical Damage of Marked targets by 20%.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the Critical Damage of Marked targets.
– Fixed an issue displaying incorrect tooltip information on ‘Frenzied Faith’.
– Fixed an issue ‘Tenacious Enemy’ tooltip displaying incorrect information.

Slayer

Dragon Slayer
– Level 30: Finish Them Off – Upon landing a killing blow, you and allies have an increased chance to gain Class Resource by 20%.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the chance to gain Class Resource.
– Level 30: Bloodthirst – Deal 10% more damage to targets with less than 10% Health.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the amount bonus damage.

Troll Slayer
– Level 30: In the Thick of It – While Doom is active, Doom’s Edge generates more threat.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the threat multiplier based on your current Doom and remaining Health.
– Level 30: Not Today – While Doom is active, gain bonus Elemental resistance.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the bonus Elemental resistance based on your current Doom and remaining Health.

Engineer
– Fixed issue where a turret could not be placed in parts of the Sewer.
– Fixed an issue with turrets not attacking ‘Raknarak Ironhorn’.
– Fixed an issue with the stun duration on ‘Concussive Strike’ is shorter than intended.
– Fixed an issue where enhancing turrets does not increase the turret’s damage.
– Fixed an issue where Engineers could consume food while placing a turret at the same time.
– Fixed an issue where holding the Attack button while equipped with a rifle would not complete the basic attack chain.

Powdersmith
– Level 30: Flying Shrapnel – When a turret is destroyed, it explodes dealing AoE damage.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the amount of damage dealt.
– Level 30: Resourceful Recycler – When a turret is destroyed, the Engineer has a 20% chance to gain 1 Scrap.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the chance to gain 1 Scrap.
– Increased base damage of Focus Fire.
– Decreased base damage of Flash Grenade.
– Flash Grenade now correctly adds bonus damage from player stats.

Machinesmith
– Level 30: Swift Smithing – Decreases the cooldown of Construct by 2 seconds.
— Enhancing this Action will further reduce the cooldown of Construct.
– Level 30: Solid Build – Increases the duration of deployed Turrets by 2 seconds.
— Enhancing this Action will increase the duration of deployed Turrets.

ZONES
– Fixed an issue where players could see under the world by panning their camera.

Drakwald Forest
– Level 50 Beastmen area has been temporarily blocked off to players and is no longer accessible.
– The Infected Drakbear area has been reworked.

Marienburg Sewers
– Fixed an issue where players could not deal damage to some enemies.

Marienburg Suid
– Removed a bright light while in the entrance to the graveyard.
– Fixed an issue where players under the intended level could enter Marienburg Suid.

ITEMS
– Fixed an issue where Bows had higher stat bonuses than intended.
– Fixed an issue where players could have permanent food buff when changing their graphic settings.
– Fixed an issue where you could consume an elixir while the buff is active.
– Newly looted Mundane jewelry will now include stat bonuses.
– Remarkable to Exquisite jewelry has an additional stat bonus.
– Masterwork jewelry will now include Armour as a bonus stat.
– New Level 35 Health, Energy, and Combination food is available.

QUESTS
– Players can now continue on the Main Story Quest in Marienburg Suid.
– New daily quests are available from Huntsman Grean, Victoria Molenaar, and Old Rosey in Drakwald Forest.
– Added missing text from “On Patrol: Part Six.”
– Fixed an issue where players were unable to obtain items for repeatable quests.
– Fixed an issue during “Search for Survivors” where the Captain wouldn’t complete the quest.
– Fixed an issue where some players could not complete “Routine Repair.”
– Fixed an issue where players are unable to complete “Road to Bretonnia.”
– Added quest arrow to “Following the Trail.”
– Added quest icon above “Otto Otsmann” during “Dead Belongings.”
– The quest arrow for “The Fate of the Tidecrest” now points in the right direction.

ENEMIES
– New unique and powerful enemies have been added to every map. You will need a group to defeat them.
– The Gutter Crawler in the sewers is no longer invincible.
– Fixed an issue where ‘Khorron Kegheaver’ actions were not displaying properly in System log.
– Fixed an issue where ‘Nureg the Fumigator’ would stop attacking after using certain actions.
– Fixed several issues with invisible enemies attacking players.
– Fixed an issue where enemies could not be attacked, and players received “invalid target” in System log.
– “Skaven Clawleader” now has proper animations.
– Fixed an issue with some rare enemies not spawning in all possible locations.
– Fixed issue where some enemies could spam their abilities.
– Experience from Deer has been reduced by 50%.
– 5-skull enemies will now drop 2 items of Superior quality of higher.

NEW PLAYER TUTORIAL
– Improvements to the New Player Tutorial.
– Fixed several issues where players could become stuck during the tutorial.

REGIMENTS
– Fixed an issue where Regiments could have more than 60 members.
– Fixed an issue with newly created Regiments appearing full.
– The option to write a Regiment Message will now only be displayed to the rank of General.

GROUPS
– Fixed an issue where one Group joining another is unable to see the Group chat.
– Fixed an issue where a Group member could receive experience outside of the normal range.
– Fixed an issue where Groups larger than 6 didn’t receive the correct bonus gold & experience.

COMBAT
– Changed loot throttling begins to take effect at a level difference of 10 instead of 5.
– Elemental damage will no longer be affected by a player’s Armour rating.
– Power from Actions have been increased and the power from basic attacks have been reduced.

FACTIONS
– Fixed an issue where players could become ‘Champion’ with the Stormblades of Hoeth too quickly.
– New repeatable quests are available from each faction representative.

PVP
– Players will no longer suffer the Resurrection Trauma debuff after losing a duel.

SHOP
– Sovereign purchases have been re-enabled on Android devices.
– New Elixirs and Draughts that enhance various bonuses are now available.
– A new “Featured’ section is added to highlight bundles and deals available.

UI
– The ‘Hamburger’ menu icon has been removed. You can access the menu by clicking on your player icon, the minimap, or the quest log.
– You can now search for other online players in the Social window. Offline players will not appear in the results.
– Inspecting rings and bracelets will now compare stats of the (top) right slot in the tooltip.
– Fixed an issue where it shows you are overburdened after purchasing a Backpack Expansion.
– Fixed an issue where chat would disappear while typing a message.
– Resolved an issue with certain devices unable to accept the Terms of Service on account creation.
– Fixed an issue where players could automatically attack enemies without pressing on the screen.
– Fixed an issue where players chat history was cleared when moving to a new area.
– Added a map icon for the Blacksmith in the Wasteland.
– Fixed an issue where equipping items with resistances would cause text error on the character stat page.
– Fixed an issue where players could see descriptions of locked Actions.
– Fixed an issue where items in received mail always show the quality as Mundane.
– Fixed an issue where Max Health debuff would display as “Your accuracy is reduced” in System log.
– Removed the ‘Get More’ button when trying to buy an item with insufficient coins.
– Fixed an issue where players could exceed their Bank inventory limit.
– Various improvements to the Premium Shop.
– Fixed numerous typos.

SYSTEM
– Resolved an issue for players located in South Africa unable to install the game.
– Fixed several crashing issues.
– Fixed an error player would receive when cancelling a Sovereign purchase on iOS devices.
– Device optimization and performance improvements.

KNOWN ISSUES
– ‘Finish Them Off’ makes the resource bar update incorrectly.
– ‘Holy Veil’ doesn’t decrease threat generated from ‘Healing Hands’.
– Witch Hunter Marks are not being consumed correctly.
– Stealth is not correctly decreasing aggro range for players.
– Warrior Priest heal is longer than 3-seconds.
